Lisbon, Portugal

Lisbon is known for its warm and welcoming people. You will be pleasantly surprised by the lovely weather as well as the big hearty meals.

This city has plenty of things for you to do. Explore the amazing fortress that is São Jorge Castle or let the kids have fun at the Maritime Museum. Lisbon is quite budget-friendly when compared to other European cities and very easy to navigate.

Budapest, Hungary

Hungary is not as well known as other parts of Europe so this is a great place to visit that still feels quite authentic and has not yet become a tourist trap.

Reykjavik, Iceland

Iceland is another wonderful place that many people do not always consider when visiting Europe. They are missing out on days of endless sunshine and a very unique cultural experience. People probably only think of the beautiful northern lights when they think of Iceland, but  Reykjavik also enjoys absolutely no darkness from April to August.

This is truly a city for nature lovers, with many gorgeous hiking trails and lagoons filled with healing waters. The Hallgrimskirkja Church is the city’s stunning architectural centerpiece. The  Perlan Dome rotates to give stunning views of the city.

The cuisine is healthy and can offer some exotic alternatives like shark meat. Iceland is definitely a place that one will never forget.

Paris, France

Paris is the city for true romantics. Not only is Paris stunningly beautiful but it boasts of unparalleled cultural activities that will keep you busy throughout your trip. The Louver Museum itself can take many days to properly explore. There is also the Gothic brilliance found in the famous church of Notre- Dame.

You also have the option of enjoying this world-class city from the relaxing space of its many cafes and restaurants. You really can not go wrong with Paris and it should be a destination that everyone visits at least once in their lifetime.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik is a sparkling jewel located along the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Explore this lovely medieval city by walking the Dubrovnik Walls which loop around the entire city and give you spectacular views.

This hidden jewel has been featured in famous films and tv shows like Star Wars and Game of Thrones. Dubrovnik was actually one of the main cities used for King’s Landing which was the central location of Game of Thrones. Many people get a real joy out of exploring some of these now-iconic locations.

Florence, Italy
